In 2023, we collaborated with partners across the nation to advance employee ownership as a strategy for community wealth building and economic development. From Los Angeles to St. Paul, Chicago to Atlanta, we’ve built partnerships with local governments, workforce development boards, other nonprofits and many others to expand the benefits of employee ownership to Black, Latine and low-income workers.
We innovated new pathways to educate stakeholders and successfully advocated for policy changes. We launched research partnerships that are providing critical insights into the intersection of employee ownership and racial equity. We found new ways to incorporate language justice into our workshops to ensure that all workers have a voice and a seat at the table.
All of the accomplishments outlined in this report are the direct result of the partners and supporters who have championed our work over the past decade. As we mark our 10 Year Anniversary, we invite you to join them.
