Employee Ownership Catalyst Fund & Legacy Celebration

Since its launch in 2021, the Employee Ownership Catalyst Fund has brought much-needed flexible capital into the EO space—supporting high quality jobs by financing both partial and 100% transitions to broad-based EO models. The Fund has financed transitions to EO models, including worker cooperatives, Employee Ownership Trusts (EOTs), and Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), at small and medium-sized businesses and lower-middle market companies and is innovating strategies to leverage capital and create on-ramps to EO.

We’re excited to announce that the Employee Ownership Catalyst Fund recently received a significant $4M capital investment from the Quality Jobs Fund, a joint project of the New World Foundation and Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco, which brings the total assets under management to nearly $10 million.
