Sign on to support California’s Employee Ownership Hub
- Max Chaoulideer
EO supporters across California are coming together in support of a budget request to fund the California Employee Ownership Hub. Senator Josh Becker and Assemblymember Ash Kalra are co-sponsoring this request for $1.5million over 3 years. This initial small budget allocation would fund the Hub Manager position and enable essential programming for the first three years, better positioning the Hub to receive full funding in future years.
Project Equity and the Worker-Owned Recovery California (WORC) Coalition are gathering signatures from EO supporters across the state. Please take a moment to sign-on in support here and share widely! (Though every voice in support counts, signatures on behalf of organizations are especially impactful.)
This effort builds on the unanimous bipartisan passage of the California Employee Ownership Act in 2022, which created the EO Hub in the California Office of the Small Business Advocate (CalOSBA).
