October is Employee Ownership Month! It is a time of year to celebrate the people, businesses, and communities showing what happens when workers have a real stake in the places where they work.

At Project Equity, we see employee ownership as one of the best ways to build an economy that works for everyone. When employees hold an ownership stake, workers build real wealth, local businesses stay rooted in their communities, and jobs stay right where they belong.

All month long, we’ll be sharing inspiring stories, key insights, and voices from employee-owners, business leaders, and advocates who are making broad-based ownership a reality.

We’re launching our #TogetherWeOwn campaign to spotlight what worker ownership means to real people across the country. Getting involved takes less than two minutes:
